Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen

This was awesome.

Okay, I'll make it short.

The story: Is about The Fallen from Cybertron coming to the Earth to take revenge to Optimus Prime, as the remaining of the Primes, which once he felt bertrayed of. He also chasing after the fracture of Allsparks, which store the location of the Matrix, a new source of Energon...which unluckily the knowledge of it was absorbed by Sam.

The Action: Terrific! the action is really great with all those special effets and stunts. Really felt so real and alive. The fight is also more enjoyable than the first Transformers movie. Because in the first movie, what I felt was chaos, I didn't really got the chance to figured which is which and everything is so messy. But here, it's all clear, thrilling, and really enjoyable.

The Drama: This is where I don't really enjoy. They were like over-dramatize the sexyness of Megan Fox. Suddenly the character is no more than a sugar added. There were also lots of dramatize scenes. Too dramatize that makes it like some empty pauses in the whole movie. Really annoying.

The Miss: Is the the story logic when the Decepticon appear in the shape of a female body. Hey, if they are good at it, why don't they all camuflage as human to sneak in between human and that way, they could get Sam more easy than to destroy the whole city... The second miss is the fighting scene on the Egyptian dessert where in some way, the sun is dislocated between scenens, between on the top of the sky, but the next farme is on the horizon as if they intended to make it a dramatized action. But annoying..

So overall, this movie is great! Awesome action scenes!! Can't forget it after I walked out of the movie. *am i too drama here? ;P* Just ignore the drama.

Ice Age 3 : Dawn of the Dinosaurs

This is another adventure of the "weird" herd.

In this adventure, Sid, being jealous and felt left alone by Manny who's going to have a baby with his preggy wife Ellie and set a new priority, decided to be a 'mom' after he accidentally found 3 large eggs under a hidden underground cave. Apparently those are dinosaurs'. The next day, the eggs are hatched into three baby dinos. The angry momma dinosaurs are coming up to the ice world looking for her babies, and taken them back--and Sid with her.

Ellie insist to go find and save Sid. With the baby could come out within a call, Manny felt worried and in doubt but decided to go after all in the adventure of saving Sid, his best friend. So there go Manny, Ellie, Diego, accompanied by two wacky opposum brothers Crash and Eddie, entering the underground world of dinosaurs they thought have been extinct.

Stepping their feet into a totally different world of dinosaurs with giant teeth, gigantic size, hard skins, and 'harsh life', they got help from Buck, the only mammal lives in a dinosaurs world. With loony-pirates-english accent-style, Buck help them to get Sid back.

This is a great family movie for the summer. Every children loves it. At least those children who watched it with me in the theatre were 'wooow', 'oooh', and screaming along the way. =D The great thing in this movie is that nothing is pictured in a sad or negative way. Even when I thought in the fight scene, Diego will lost his part, he's not. And of course the adventure of Scrat who's always trying to get the nuts is also in the movie. In addition, Scrat got a beautiful enemy to fight on the nut.. ;)

It's all a happy story with a happy ending without being too much.

Diawali dengan setting di sebuah kota di suatu hari sibuk yang biasa, tiba-tiba seorang laki-laki di dalam mobil mengalami kebutaan mendadak. Seorang asing menolong untuk mengantarkannya pulang. Seseorang yang kemudian mencuri mobilnya.

Bersama istrinya laki-laki tersebut mendatangi seorang dokter mata (Mark Rufallo). Belum terjawab penyebab kebutaan tersebut, besoknya sang dokter pun mengalami kebutaan tiba-tiba yang sama. Dan mendadak di seluruh kota terdapat beberapa kasus yang sama, termasuk juga sang pencuri mobil.

Pemerintah kota pun dengan segera mengevakuasi para penderita dan mengisolasi mereka di sebuah bangsal kosong. Istri sang dokter, yang diperankan dengan sangat bagus oleh Julianne Moore, yang entah bagaimana ternyata kebal dari wabah ini mengaku buta untuk menemani sang suami.

Di bangsal tersebut mereka berkumpul dengan penderita lainnya yang diisolasi dari kota. Bangsal kosong yang kemudian menjadi penuh itu menjadi seperti sebuah dunia yang lain. Dimana semua orang dari segala strata di tempat itu menjadi equally helpless.. Dalam kondisi demikian, keadaan di dalam bangsal menjadi sangat kacau secara mental dan fisik.

Keberadaan orang-orang yang masih mencari keuntungan bahkan dalam keadaan buta sekalipun membuat orang-orang lain harus bertahan hidup dengan apapun yang ada meski dengan terpaksa harus menepikan moral, harga diri, dan kemanusiaan. Sangat mengusik dan mengiris hati.. a bit disturbing in a way on how people in their desperate times stil need somehow to make an advantage at least for their own lives. Julianne Moore dengan sangat bagus memperlihatkan tekanan dan beban sebagai satu-satunya orang yang dapat melihat tapi tidak bisa melakukan terlalu banyak. Bahkan hingga dia harus secara tidak sengaja menyaksikan suaminya have sex dengan wanita lain (Alice Braga) karena terbawa suasana..

Very touchy, disturbing, and you can feel the pressure..

Diangkat dari novel Jose Saramago, seorang peraih Nobel, dan disutradai oleh Fernando Meirelles yang juga menyutradarai The Constant Gardener, film ini diceritakan dan digambarkan dengan sangat bagus.

Sampe-sampe gw baru ngeh kalo karakter-karakter di film ini ga bernama pas lagi liat credit titlenya...
